The Animal Energy Network

A while back, a surprising thing happened when I started a reading for a client’s dog. Right when I began inviting the dog’s energy to connect with mine, my cat Faro started making cute noises in his sleep just a few feet away from me. I’d never heard him make those noises before, and I instantly received a knowing that I needed to share it with my client (but I didn’t know why).

When I described Faro’s noises to her, my client knew instantly that it was her cat on the other side (who was known for making adorable noises in her sleep) jumping in to say hi before we got into a conversation with her dog.
Animals on the other side astound me with their creativity. And I love when they work with living animals to bring messages through.
A few years back when I hired a new cat sitter, I told her that our cat Calla would be friendly and outgoing but Faro will probably hide under the bed during her visits. Imagine my surprise when she told me the exact opposite happened. In fact, while Calla hid under the bed, Faro even snuggled with her on the couch. It turns out my new cat sitter had just recently lost her cat, and he looked identical to Faro. There had definitely been conversations among her cat and my two, so that she got the emotional healing she needed during her cat-sitting gig.
A couple of weeks ago, I took Faro for his annual checkup. I sat in the waiting room while they did his blood work in the back and noticed a couple walk to the front desk from the exam room area, the woman in tears. As they stood at the front counter to check out, I knew they had just helped their animal cross over.
My chair was close to where they stood and I felt so bad for them. The woman looked so torn up that I debated trying to catch her eye to give her a reassuring look or tell her I was sorry. Then she walked from the counter and sat down next to me. This is it, I thought, I’m supposed to help her feel better. But before I had the chance to say something, she exclaimed, “Lucy!?” as she looked at the woman sitting across from us, who in turn gasped, apparently recognizing a good friend she hadn’t seen in a while. The women stood up and embraced and I heard the grieving one say “We just had to put our cat to sleep!”
I breathed a sigh of relief and remembered our animals on the other side always have stuff planned out.
I think my sitter’s cat planned that the person who had his lookalike would book her shortly after his passing. I think the woman’s cat who had just passed worked with the universe to place her friend in the waiting room.
Years ago my brother’s family’s beloved black-and-white dog Edward passed while they were on vacation, and it was heartbreaking. The moment they returned home, a black and white kitty was waiting on their porch. After confirming that no one in the neighborhood had lost a cat, they adopted her. Was Edward on that porch in spirit, making the introduction and asking Midnight to help the family with their grief? I know it’s so.
We’re all connected — humans and animals, those living and those crossed over. Your animals in Spirit have access to you, your senses, your living animals, your friends. It’s a network of specific sleepy noises, doppelgängers, and what-are-the-odds moments with no outages, just goosebumps. 💜
